What is an Elsewhere commission?
A private, human-directed editorial fantasy portrait experience. You choose a product, a World, and a direction; we create and curate the finished images.
Is this an automatic AI image service?
No. AI-assisted tools support the work, but a person shapes the direction, selects results, handles revisions, and prepares the final delivery.
What is Persona Mode?
Persona Mode makes a new fantasy version of you. It does not need to look like you, and you do not need to send photos.
What is Likeness Mode?
Likeness Mode uses your own adult photos so the person looks like you. It has a separate consent and private upload step.
How much writing do I need to do?
Very little. After payment, you answer a short set of plain questions about the World, feeling, possible self, small moment, and what matters most. Images carry the story.
What files will I receive?
Every final portrait arrives without the public sample watermark: a high-resolution sRGB PNG with a long edge of at least 3,000 pixels, plus a web-ready JPG copy. The number of finished portraits is the number listed in your selected experience.
What is included in the social-profile kit?
Every paid experience also includes a studio-selected set of 1 to 5 exclusive cartoon avatars or personal profile logos for Facebook, TikTok, Discord, Instagram, and similar personal profiles. It is separate from your promised portrait count and is not a commercial trademark or business-logo license.
Can an empty room or still life count as one of my images?
No. Every paid image includes you or your confirmed Persona. A quiet room, object, or landscape can be an extra gift from the studio, but it never replaces a paid portrait image.
What happens if I choose Likeness Mode?
Before payment, we explain the reference-photo process. After payment, your private Portal asks for 3 to 5 current adult photos of yourself. They are used only for your commission, never for a public model or face database, and are scheduled for deletion 30 days after final delivery.
Can I use the work for my business?
Commercial use needs a separate review and license. Select “work or business” before checkout so we can review the request.
Will my portrait be public?
No. Public display is separate from your purchase. We only share work when you actively give permission for the stated use.
How long are my files available?
Finished files are kept in the private Portal for 12 months by default. Please keep a local backup after delivery. Reference-photo retention and deletion requests follow the privacy policy and your commission record.
What if I need a refund?
Read the commission agreement before purchase. If a problem arises, contact studio@elsewherestudio.art from the email connected to your order so we can review the work and payment record fairly.
